Wiring

Wire pin 1 to Ground and 5 to any source of 12V power, this can be from the ECU or a source of key-on power from the vehicle.

Wire pin 4 (CAN L) and pin 8 (CAN H) to the corresponding CAN L and CAN H pads respectively on the ECU.
