Designed by Keith N, the KaN gauge is a proprietary CAN bus gauge designed for the Beer Money Motorsports line of programmable ECUs. The gauge wires into the CAN bus lines on the ECU allowing it to display every logged engine parameter such as AFR, RPM, MAP, throttle pedal position, coolant temperature, etc. Up to four pieces of data can be displayed at the same time with the ability to cycle through various screens or layouts with the push of a button. I’m addition, 3 arcs can display separate information as well. Gauge layout and the open source firmware can easily be changed with the inclusion of WIFI updating.
Another unique feature of the KaN gauge is its mounting versatility allowing you to choose the optimal location on your vehicle. Currently there are three mounting options available:
- Just the PCB. With the PCB alone you can design your own bracket to fit into any space you desire. For example, switch out your dummy oil pressure gauge on NA8 and NB miatas with a KaN gauge for a discreet and OEM look.
- Cluster Housing. V2 of the KaN gaugewill have an option to mount it in your cluster replacing the oil pressure gauge.
- Standard 52mm gauge housing. Already have a standard 52mm gauge pod? With this housing the KaN gauge will fit into most standardised 52mm gauge pod mounts.
